Wasim Ahmed/Aligarh: Aligarh, the city of locksmithing and education, is also famous for its food and drinks. There would hardly be any person in this city who does not fall in love with the taste of crispy kachoris. As soon as the fragrance of Kachori comes, everyone gets attracted towards it like a magnet. Especially when one is in Aligarh, this desire increases even more. If you come to Aligarh in UP and do not taste Shibboji’s Kachoris, you will feel cheated.
Actually, Shiv Narayan Sharma, a resident of Khai Dora, started a Kachori shop in 1951. For the last 72 years, four generations of the family have been taking it forward and running it. At present, Sumit Sharma, grandson of Shiv Narayan Sharma, is managing the Shibboji shop.
This is how the shop got its name Shibboji
While talking to LOCAL 18, Sumit Sharma tells that his grandfather was fondly called Shibbo at home. That name has become a brand today. After grandfather and father, son Hariom Sharma took command from 1982. After this, Sumit Sharma, son of Hariom Sharma, took over the shop and did not let the taste and reputation fall. Shibboji Kachori has become a brand. Whose reach is not only in the country but all over the world. Be it the people of Aligarh, or America, England, Canada, Japan and Singapore, the taste of their Kachori attracts everyone. Whenever people living abroad come to Aligarh, they cannot remain without eating Kachori. At the same time, while returning from the country, do not forget to take Kachori with you. The price of Shibboji Kachori is Rs 50.
Know how Kachori is prepared?
The special thing about Shibboji Kachori is its purity. Sumit Sharma, owner of Shibboji Kachori, says that Kachori is prepared in pure desi ghee. Which is tested and used in the lab. At the same time, spices for vegetables are prepared at home. There is no adulteration in the spices, hence when spices are added to the vegetable, it makes people crazy about it.
